Raysenia James, DO, is a Family Medicine Physician, who joined HealthyU Clinics in April 2024. She attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2015. She completed a family medicine residency in 2018 at the University of Arizona in Tucson. As a DO physician, Dr. James approaches health care with principles of body, mind and spirit, which equals whole-body healing. Dr. James received a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Public-Epidemiology degree from the University of Arizona. She was born and raised in Arizona and is a proud member of the Navajo Nation. Prior to joining Healthy U, Dr. James worked in outpatient clinics focusing primarily on American Indian and Alaska Native health. She is now ready to expand her focus to provide quality health care to all.
Dr. James sees a wide range of patients from newborns to geriatrics. She is comfortable with conducting Well Child visits, Sports Physicals, Adult Annual Exams, Women’s Health, Contraceptive Care, Medicare Wellness Visits, and minor clinic procedures, amongst other areas of Primary Care. Dr. James is dedicated to improving the quality of and access to care for underserved, underinsured, and underrepresented communities.
Dr. James enjoys spending time with her dogs, cooking, building massive Lego art and relaxing at home with family.
